Here’s another News, discern for yourself, if it feels true. Depression is all set to be the single largest mental illness this planet will witness in the coming years. Call it the impact of COVID-19 or the socio-economic aftershocks of the Pandemic or Plandemic, however, you look at it. Imprints will be experienced by the human population World over, for a long time to come.
Depression has started settling in, whether we talk about it or not. It doesn’t matter if one is following the norm of social distancing or having to go to work under pressure or unwillingly.
The truth is, most parts of the day, the majority of us are operating from a low vibrational field of energy. There’s lack of motivation, unavoidable sadness and intense boredom in the air. To top the scales is our uninterrupted, 24×7 engagement on social media. All it takes is just a click and we are bombarded with news and updates from around the world. Be it the number of COVID 19 cases – positive, treated, dead. Or the latest political agendas ready to be adopted by our respective Governments. By now, as we know most of the sources providing information are either unreliable, spreading half-truth, confusing, or misleading in one way or the other.
Let’s bravely face the economic, social, physical and mental situation, we are all in. We got to face it, to phase it away. The earlier, the better. There’s no place left to hide – no city, no country, no new home to go to.
Accept that life is getting boring, we are feeling lazy, hopeless, uninspired to do things that we once enjoyed doing the most. When we accept this, only then we can introduce changes to our betterment.
Here’s one way out. The moment you recognise low or depressive feelings sinking inside you, alarm yourself this isn’t a good signal. it’s time to introduce some pleasant changes in your everyday life. You have to say No to Depression, by helping yourself stay above those low feelings. You need to take some action. This also means stay active- physically and mentally.
Help comes easy to those who are willing to help themselves.
Do you realise depression is gradually taking over the younger population too? There are lesser laughter sounds coming from my neighbourhood, these days. I hardly see any children hanging in their balcony or playing on the terrace. The community parks have a deserted look. “Is it too hot?“ I question myself and immediately I hear my heart reply “ it’s never too hot or cold for young hearts. Rain, snow, heat, hail rarely matters to them, blame it on the Flu Fear and the safety rules instead”.
The children, the bright light of tomorrow’s World, have been currently dragged into darkness by the very Chaos of this decade. Remember that every child is a little star born to shine. Allow them that space and give them respect. They need a daily dose of TLC (tender, love, care) they are feeling it too.

QUICK REMINDER
Know that Oxygen is Still available free, to each one of us by Mother Nature. Keep reminding yourself to Breathe in that oxygen, by going to the park if possible or standing a few minutes in your balcony or spending time on the terrace or rooftop. Take some fresh air, Soak yourself under the Golden Sunshine. It’s brighter and lighter outside, take some time to step outdoors- in the garden, at the beach, on the street. Bring yourself back into balance. The earlier, the better.
